Go into your workplace, classroom, lunch table, or neighborhood and listen to the conversations. It won’t take much effort for you to encounter someone who is on a tirade against Christianity and wants to voice their opposition on a consistent basis. There are many legitimate questions that skeptics have and we are called to be ready in and out of season to speak the truth in love by sharing the gospel and our lives with them as well as seeking to do the work of pre-evangelism. Pre-evangelism is the conversations you have to have before you get to the gospel so that you can gain a hearing for the gospel. Whether its a conversation about why there is suffering in the world if God is good, the authority and transmission of the Bible, or the origin of life, there are many issues skeptics have that will prevent them from listening to your presentation of the Roman Road. It’s worth a read. Check it out at: http://thegospelcoalition.org/blogs/tgc/2014/03/13/i-reject-christianity-because-_______________/
